Some days ago, there was a video that went viral on social media showing Dancehall King Shatta Wale holding a gun and firing warning shots into the air in his house.
According to the video posted, the Dancehall King was giving warning shots to Nigerian artistes Wizkid, Timaya and Patoranking. Also, there was a story that indicated that the Ghana Police had arrested the Dancehall King for the warning shots he gave in his house.
However, Shatta Wale in a video he posted on his Facebook page has responded to such false stories being posted on social media about him.
The Dancehall King said that the so-called bloggers who are doing that should stop spreading false news about him and he does not have play time for such things.
He added that the music business is not a play thing, and that all his actions comply with the laws of Ghana as such no one has the right to come arrest him.
“The bloggers den dey do den things, make den stop den things. Eno be play thing we dey Ghana dey do. Me, I no go kill anybody, ano go do anything to somebody, wey somebody have right to come arrest me.”
“I be citizen of Ghana, and I know whatever I dey do be what we dey do for Ghana. So those bloggers who dey spread false rumors about me, me no get play time for such thing.”
“As for me and my shatta movement fans, we no be weak for wanna mind inside, we be strong, so we dey move on,” Shatta Wale said.
The Dancehall king has released 109 songs in the year 2017 breaking his own record he set last year where he released 108 songs.
