Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has hipped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo referring to him as “the best in the world” after he marked his return with two impressive goals in their opening match of the UEFA Champions League.
Ronaldo scored a brace taking his Champions League goal tally to 107. Real Madrid ended up winning the match against APOEL Nicosia 3-0 with skipper Sergio Ramos scoring the last goal after a sublime overhead kick.
“He’s the best in the world,” Real manager Zidane said about Ronaldo to BeIN after the game.
“He’s always there, he always scores. If he was luckier today, he could have scored four. We know the ability that Cristiano has.”
